UK padel player growth (2019–2026)
UK padel participation has grown from approximately 6,000 players in 2019 to over 500,000 in 2026. The pandemic paradoxically accelerated growth as players sought outdoor sport alternatives.

Player participation data is drawn from the LTA's annual padel participation survey and Sport England's Active Lives Adult Survey. Court and facility data is based on the LTA facility audit, supplemented by PadelBloom's own UK court directory, which tracks courts via OpenStreetMap contributions and direct club verification.
Figures for 2026 are estimates based on Q1 2026 data extrapolated to year-end. Regional player estimates use court capacity and utilisation models derived from LTA membership data.
